Usa Deschisa in Bucharest, Romania is the first/only emergency shelter for survivors rescued from human trafficking. The survivors are assisted in a 2-year program to help with room and board, medical, legal and counseling services along with access to vocation training. They are housed in a secure environment with 24/7 security. Their post In-resident program offers the survivors a transition studio apartment to aid those who need that extra help before becoming independent and self-sufficient.
